Fellowship doesn’t have the benefit of a monetization model that naturally aligns with its game design, so developers need to find a way to balance content production with cosmetic sales.
Most aspiring game developers aren’t software engineers and even if they were, I would bet very few of them would be able to build a mobile game using Godot that has push notifications, ads, and analytics.
Video games are a form of entertainment so it’s important to make them... entertaining. If your game feels like it’s missing something, it probably is.
